Here's the challenge:
When I saw this sketch, I knew I had a (very old) stamp like the main image. I had originally thought to use a stamp that is retiring at the end of this month. However, I had nothing that would resemble vintage. then I read the description of the challenge very closely. It said to use "old-style image". Well, my very old stamp from 2000 definitely fit the description. So I went and dug it out of my For Sale box. Would you believe this stamp set is almost totally clean, as in almost brand new condition??? Poor stamps. They spent the last 11 years in their clam shell and almost never came out to play. Oops.
Again, since I don't have a vintage bone in my body, this was a problem for me for this challenge. After much thought, I decided to take the challenge literally. I completely replicated the sketch. Ha! How's that for "doing the challenge?" I know, I know... I'm a genius, right?! I was patting myself on the back for being such a smart aleck! I actually really like this card. Thanks for the chance to do the challenge, Monkey Ladies!

Girl that is so funny that you had a stamp that match the picture for 11 years, and just now using it!! Wow!! I think this is the closest to a sketch that I have ever seen EVER!! Thanks for stepping out of you safe zone and making a card anyway! It is Beautiful!

I LOVE it! I hear you about not having a "vintage bone in your body", neither do I. Well done! Congrats!
