Believe in Thanks

Here's another card I can't figure out if I CASE'd it, where I CASE'd it, or where the inspiration came from.  I am so sorry to the original creator.  Anyways, when I was making this card, I could not find my Blender Pen.  So I colored on top of the inked image.  What I love was using the Seam Binding ribbon AND Crochet Trim together.  And plus I miss Elegant Soiree DSP that retired at the end of June.  I love playing with this DSP.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Just Believe, Tiny Tags
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze
Papers:  Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, Basic Gray, Elegant Soiree DSP (retired)
Accessories: Jewelry Tag punch, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Baja Breeze Seam Binding ribbon, Crochet Trim ribbon, Basic Pearls, Stampin' Write marker

Paisley Petals Box Kite & Card

How cool is this little thing?  I CASE'd this from Karen.  Simple enough to do quickly.  Best of all, it folds flat for mailing.  One tip on gluing/taping the front DSP to the cardstock... glue down one side, fold together, then tape down the other side.  This way you won't get any bubbles.  The other tip is on taping the front piece to the back... flatten out the whole thing, then tape.  This is because, if you're like me, the folds never really line up correctly.  So if you taped from the corner, your box won't be able to fold totally flat.  Hope that makes sense to you.  If you have questions, leave me a comment to let me know.
This one is pretty much completely CASE'd from The Crazy Stamp Lady.  She said hers was also CASE'd, but she didn't list whom she CASE'd from, so I can't credit the original creator.  Here's how it looks opened.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Four Frames, Just Believe, Fast & Fabulous (retired)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Marina Mist, Pumpkin Pie, Mellow Moss (retired)
Papers:  Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist
Accessories: Word Window punch, Designer Label punch, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Basic Rhinestones, Medium Window Sheet

CASE'ing IBC

****SECOND POST TODAY****  Please scroll down to see Project #1 of my Top Note Die Week.

Gretchen Barron is hosting a contest where you CASE a project out of the new IB&C but just change something to make it your own.
This is what I made.
This is a CASE from the card shown on page 182 of the catalog.  I liked this card because I get to use Baja Breeze, Top Note Die and the GOR-GE-OUS Mocha Morning DSP.  The original uses Elements of Style, which I don't have.  So I chose Just Believe.  I thought this card was pretty when I saw it in the catalog.  But when I was done... Well, not one to really boast much, but I LOVE MY CARD!!!  How do you like that bird???  I punched it out of the super rich special paper from the Mocha Morning pack.  The black has this velvety feel.  Oh, it's awesome!

I also used the Color Spritzer Tool to "spit" some ink from the marker onto the Top Note piece.
I've had this Spritzer Tool FOREVER.  I probably bought it when it first came out like 10+ years ago, yet I so use it so seldom.  That will need to be changed.  It was kinda fun!

Oh, and I don't have the First Edition DSP.  So I cheated by cutting a piece of our newspaper. :)

BTW, not until I typed up the post, I realized since this card uses the Top Note die, it's also fitting for my special Top Note Die Week.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Just Believe, Hodgepodge Happiness (Retired)
Ink: Soft Suede
Papers:  Baja Breeze, Mocha Morning DSP
Accessories: Top Note die, Circle punch, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon, Two-Step Bird punch, Color Spritzer Tool
