Anniversary Owls

I CASE'd this card from Julie and Cristena.  And I happened to be the Blog Candy Winner on Julie's blog awhile back, too.  Too cool. :)  Anyways, I just love my owl punch.  I have been wanting to CASE this as soon as I saw this, but never really had the chance to make it.  One morning last week, I woke up early (thanks to a certain miniature person in our household, lol), and thought I'd make it for a very special friend whose anniversary was coming up.  I just love this.  It actually look less time than I thought it would take.  I punched out all the pieces before glueing anything down.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): A Word for You
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisteria Wonder, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Flirtatious DSP, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Two-Step Owl punch, Itty Bitty Punch pack, Two-Step Bird punch, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Basic Pearls, White Signo gelpen

Penguins on Snow

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend!  Did you score anything for Black Friday???  BTW, there's still time left for the Stampin' Up!'s Online Extravaganza.
Click above to go directly to MY STORE, or you can just call or email me your order and I will order it for you!  Better Hurry, 'cause it'll be gone after Wednesday, 11/30/11!

Today's card is a CASE from Julie Davison.  I had seen this card last year but hadn't got around to CASE'ing it.  Then it popped up again this year.  I had to sit down right away to make one of my own.  Aren't they just too cute?  I just love the Two-Step Owl punch.  It's soooo versatile!  Here's a bonus:  Julie has typed up the entire instruction for how to make this card HERE!

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Four the Holidays
Ink: Marina Mist
Accessories: Northern Flurries embossing folder, Two-Step Owl punch, Dazzling Details

Thanks to the Teachers

This card is a CASE from Rita Wright, with slight modifications.  I made this to give to my daughter's teachers.  I thought the use of vellum was brilliant!  Plus, I have a small stack of vellum scraps just lying around for YEARS, so I was very happy to use some today.  I'm not sure how many times I can continue to sing the praises of Gently Falling stamp set.  IT'S SOOOOO LOVELY!!!!  I sure hope it makes it into the next big catalog in July.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Gently Falling, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Vellum
Accessories: Square Lattice embossing folder, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon, brads (non-SU)

All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop

Welcome to the first-ever Blog Hop I have participated in!!! I hope you'll like these projects, 'cause I sure loved making these. :) And of course, PLEASE show me some love by leaving me a comment. Thank you!

First, I'd like to show you the projects as an ensemble.
With Thanksgiving this week, I thought I'd make some things that are appropriate for the occasion.  The first is a Hostess Appreciation card. :)  I actually don't have anything in the Domestic Goddess suite.  So I downloaded the paper and the stamp brush set digitally.  The beauty of using digital paper is that I only have to print as much as I need, so there's no ink wastage.  Another bonus for this particular stamp brush set?  Each utensil is its own image; unlike the stamp in the catalog, which is a set of 1.
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Now You're Cookin' (digital stamp brush set, #123149)
Ink: Calypso Coral
Papers: Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Domestic Goddess DSP (digital, #122355)
Accessories: Pool Party Ruffled ribbon, Designer Frames embossing folder

Now, with a big dinner ahead of you, you will need to have place cards for everyone at the table.  This is my version.  I used the Top Note Die and Two Tags die for this.
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Gently Falling
Ink: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze
Papers: Pool Party, More Mustard, Spice Cake DSP
Accessories: Top Note die, Two Tags die, Corner rounder punch, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Pool Party Ruffled ribbon, sponge

Lastly, a small party favor.  This is made by cutting a piece of DSP down to 5 1/2" by 8 1/2".  Using the Simply Score board, place the INSIDE of the box facing up.  Score at 2", 4", 6" and 8".  Turn 90-degrees, and score at 2".  See further instructions HERE.
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Hodgepodge Happiness (retired)
Ink: Pool Party
Papers: Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Spice Cake DSP
Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, Scalloped Oval punch, Scallop Edge border punch, Crop-a-Dile, Pool Party Ruffled ribbon

That's the conclusion of my offerings for this blog hop.  I hope you enjoyed spending time here.
