All New! Fun 'n Crafty Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Fun n' Crafty Blog Hop for June! This is the first of our monthly blog hops.  We hope you will enjoy all the inspiration. This month we will be showcasing project ideas from the NEW Stampin' Up Annual Catalog. So make sure to check out the list of stops on the hop at the bottom of this post to see them all!

The first card I CASE'd is from page 67.  I made a couple of minor changes, since I didn't have all the products.  I love the color combination of this card.  I even stamped on a piece of vellum and embossed it.  I really loved how this card turned out.  And the placement of the candy dots is so unique, too.
This second card can be found on page 109 of the catalog.  I am soooo glad to see the Just Sayin' stamp set and the Word Bubble framelits made it into the new catalog, along with the arrows embossing folder from the Occasions Catalog.   I again used a candy dot for the center of the cute little flower from the new punch set.
I hope you are inspired to create your own versions of samples you see in the catalog.  If I am the last stop you are visiting, thank you for joining us this month.  If I am not the last blog, feel free to click on the Next Blog button and visit Jennifer at her blog.  A list of participants is below should you wish to hop around.

Floral Frame

Today's card was inspired by Amy.  I had been wanting to test out layering using flowers from different stamp sets and thought this was the perfect card to try it with.  I used Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals.  Look at how wonderful they stack on top of each other.  I hear what you're saying... but I don't NEED another flower set.  I know, I know.  I didn't want to keep buying these floral sets, either.  But I caved, and I love them!  Oh, the reason why my sentiment looks like it barely got any ink at all?  I was trying to be careful and not get any lines from the edges of the rubber.  I guess it wasn't a very good job.  But I was not about to redo the entire card.  So there.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Peachy Keen, Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop, Petite Petals
Ink: Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit
Papers: Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB2014)
Accessories: Peachy Keen framelits, Blossom punch, Pansy punch, Petite Petals punch, Basic Pearls, Crumb Cake Taffeta ribbon

Clean and Simple Hello

Today's card is a super simple card.  But I LOVE it!  I hope you like it, too.  I'm not sure if I CASE'd this card from anyone.  If I did, and you know where it's from, please tell me.  Having a busy summer and being sick all summer has turned my brain into mush.  I have seen so many awesome cards made with Washi tapes.  I thought I should be more daring and use more than just a little bit on a card.  So I just tore these at different lengths and stacked them up.  A simple sentiment and a flower from Flower Shop bundle and some bling, and voila!  Instant card.  I really love the simplicity of this.  I've actually made quite a few of these in the last couple of days.  So if you see one in your bag for your order, you'll know why. :)

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Flower Shop, Four You
Ink: Gumball Green, Island Indigo
Papers: Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Pansy punch, Gingham Garden Washi Tapes, Large Basic Rhinestone

Flower Garden

Oh my goodness, the Convention is WILD!!!  For chatter and pics, please be sure to go to my Facebook Fan Page and click to "Like" me.  Isn't this card beautiful?  I just love it.  In fact, I love it so much that I made a bunch of these to swap at Convention.  I was so late in finishing my swaps, I was even assembling them at the airport, on the plane, and at the hotel.  But alas, they are all done and ready to swap today!

The stamp set for the flowers is from Flower Shop, along with coordinating Pansy punch.  The sentiment is from Feel Goods.  And the paper, of course, is from my favorite, Gingham Garden DSP.
