Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop: Apr 2012

Can you believe it's been another month and time for our monthly Blog Hop again?  If you are new here and/or came from Shellie's Blog, a great big welcome to you!  I hope you will find something you like here and get your creative juices going.  Let's get right to it.  Everything I'm showing today uses items from the Summer Smooches suite.
This suite of products are going to be in the new catalog starting in June.  But you can pre-order them THIS MONTH ONLY!  Contact me for details.

I'm starting out with my 3-D item today.
Isn't this ca-yoote?!!!  This is a mini-magazine holder that fits 3x3 cards.  The tutorial came from Kards by Kadie.  I took her advice and used a piece of copy paper to make my template and changed her dimensions and score locations to fit what I want.  And just to show you how much I love my readers, I have made a TUTORIAL with my dimensions, just for you!

Here is the backside.
View of the empty holder.
As for cards, I made several 3"x3" cards.  I am so super thankful for all my friends and customers who have not only supported me throughout the year, but especially during this last SAB promotion.  Every order has helped me obtain my goals I set for myself for SAB.  Part of my thank yous to them is one of these cards.  They don't know this yet, but I am planning to put a little surprise in each person's bag this week.  (hey, if you're reading this post, just pretend you didn't know more goodies are coming your way, okay?)
Here is a closeup of each different kind of card I made.
I am loving using clear blocks for background stamping.  These are done with the A block.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): A Word for You, Perfect Punches
Ink: Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango
