Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop: June 2012

Hello and welcome to this month's installment of the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop.  If you came from Kim's Stampin' with Kim blog, thank you for visiting me!  This month's themes are New Catalog Sneaks, Father's Day and/or Graduation. I hope you'll like what I have for you.  And please, give my blogpost some love with your kind comments!

I decided to make a masculine card for graduation for this month's Hop.  This is a set called, Need for Speed.  It's perfect for guy cards.  The DSP is from Summer Smooches.  I used the Pennant punch to make my flag ends.  This tip is from Jennifer of NW Stamper.
Next, I made a box to house a set of cards.  The neat thing about how this box is made is the use of Window Sheet as a shim.  How?  Check out Connie Stewart's video HERE.  Simply ingenious.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Need for Speed
Ink: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turqoise, Real Red
Papers: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turqoise, Real Red
Accessories: Labels Framelits, Pennant punch

Thanking for stopping by.  Please continue along the hop with us.  Your next stop is with Pam.

Great tip on the banners, I've used square punches but didn't even think about using the pennant punch! Your card and matching box is adorable!

Thanks for sharing and I love the tip on the Pennant Punch. I too have always used the square punch but the Pennant Punch gives another option.
