Had such a fun morning crafting and chatting with my good friend, Jennifer, of NW Stamper, earlier this week. We decided that we really needed to get some creative mojo going. So what's better than two friends, a sketch, and a craft-off? Here's the result. Some sneak peeks for you here, along with current items continuing in the new catalog. What do you think? Which do you think is mine, and which do you think is Jennifer's? Have you spotted anything you have on your wishlist, or are adding to your wishlist???
Speaking of wishlists... If your wishlist from the new catalog is $55 or more, consider the $50 sign-up promotion, effective now until end of June. Consider this, get $55 worth of new products for $50. That's a 10% discount. The starter kit charges NO SHIPPING! That's another 10% discount! You're saving money from purchases you would have made anyways right off the bat! Then, you enjoy further perks of demonstrator discounts, hostess benefits where you are your own hostess, etc. Lots of benefits to signing up with this promo. If you need further details, feel free to CONTACT ME anytime.

Cupcake Birthday
I needed a quick little girl's birthday card the other day for my daughter's classmate. I picked the colors from the wrapping paper I used. I ended up with Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana. Interesting choices, you say? Look how cute and spring fresh it is! I loved it. :)
Anyways, just because the Create a Cupcake stamp set is retiring/sold out, doesn't mean you can't play with it, right? Plus, the punch is still available for order. And I'll let you in a leeetle secret, there's a NEW coordinating cupcake stamp set in the new catalog! Yay!!!
This card was CASE'd from Jo.

2014-2015 Sneak Peek!
Today I'm showing you 2 cards made with some of the new goodies from the upcoming Annual Catalog. The first card was originally inspired by Diane. But I didn't like hiding the tag, so I decided to put it outside. The background on the tag is done by inking up the Decorative Dots embossing folder and carefully laying the cardstock on top. You could brayer the back, to get a better coverage. Or you could be lazy like me and just use your fingers. :)
With this second card, I wanted to kind of have this ombre look with the chevron stamp. So I stamped the top one off twice, before stamping on cardstock. Then the next set was stamped off once. The last one was not stamped off.
How did you like these?
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Power of Two!
This week is National Teachers Appreciation week. I made this card for my daughter's teacher, . Inside I attached a Starbucks giftcard. This card was inspired by Brian. When I saw his card, I thought it was hilarious. The teacher has made reference to drinking coffee a few times in the recent past when I interacted with her. So I thought this was a fitting occasion to make this card. I simplified the card, but you get the idea. :)
The funnest (is that a word?) part is using my alphabet stamps to finish the sentiment from Yippee Skippee. I did use the now-sold out alphabet photopolymer. But fear not, there will be a new alphabet photopolymer set in the new catalog!!! Yippee Skippee!!!
