Happy New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone!  Hope you had a good Christmas and Hanukah and Kwanza and whatever holiday you celebrate.  Here's kind of a quick card that I made for some of the holiday cards that went out this year.  The file folder look is quite popular these days, especially with the use of Envelope Punch Board.  I thought I'd give it a try.  It was indeed easy!  I'll have to do a quick pictorial for you.  The tag is cut using the Deco Label framelits.  I didn't cut the full shape, as you can see.  I just wanted the sides.  It worked perfectly.  This stamp set is called, Happy Hour.  I've had it for awhile, but haven't had the chance to play with it until now.  It's so cute, isn't it?  I used markers to color the mistletoe.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Happy Hour, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit
Papers: Island Indigo, Winter Frost DSP Stack
Accessories: Water Color Wonder Washi Tape (new! Occasions Catalog 2014), Deco Labels Framelits, 1/8" Silver ribbon, Envelope Punch Board, Stampin' Write Markers (Gumball Gree, Cherry Cobbler)

Secret Santa Mail!

I participate in a Secret Santa group with some demonstrators from our blog hop.    Look what came in the mail for me yesterday!  Aren't these great?  The santa card is made using the circle thinlit flipcard.  How cute is that?  The card on the right is a 4" x 4", which is great, because it still fits into a regular A2 size envelope.  My santa must have a lot of patience poking all those holes. :D  I love both of these cards and colors.  Thanks, Secret Santa!

Drum Roll Please....

Before I get to that, let me show you a card real quick.  And literally, this was a super quick card.
A little Washi Tape, a little strip of Season of Style pack, coordinating stamp and punch with Tags 4 You.  Voila! The card is done.  It might even make more of an impression if I embossed the Gumball Green cardstock.  But there you go!  Should you need some more last minute card ideas, this is a super quick one.

Now, the winner of our Stylin' Stampin' Squad December Blog Hop Blog Candy is...

Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop - December 2013

Thank you so much for joining us for the December Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop!  This month our projects focus on quick and easy gift ideas for the holidays. As we enter the month of December, we find that the Christmas holidays are fast approaching. From decorating our homes to holiday baking, we realize that shopping days are running low. That's why we want to share quick and easy gift ideas that anyone can create in time for that special someone!

As you hop along, you will see that many of our design team members are giving away some great blog candy this month. Leave a comment for each project and you will automatically be entered in to win!  Winners will be announced Monday, December 16th on our individual blogs, so don't forget to leave us those comments! We love to hear from our readers!

You should have just left stop number 2 - DJ's Stampin' Place on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad  blog hop. If so, you are in the  right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find  the full blog hop lineup below.

My project this month uses the awesome Flip Card Thinlit dies.  Here it is closed.  I've seen this santa coat done by various crafters the last couple of years.  I think it's brilliant.  The belt helps keep the card closed.
Once you slip the belt off and open the inside, here is what it looks like.
I made the card a little longer to have a little flap to hold a gift card.  What's better than something practical, like a gift card, for Christmas, right?

Open a little more, the label flips to the other side.
This was actually a fun and easy project.  Just perfect for your last minute gifting!  Remember to leave me a comment here for a chance to win some blog candy.  This is a first on this blog, so you don't want to miss it!  I'll call it a "Surprise Grab Bag".  I promise it's be really super yummy!  Tell your friends to come and check out this project.  At the same time, might as well increase your chances to win other candies by leaving comments on each one of these wonderful crafter's blog.  Winners will be announced on Monday, December 16th.  Be sure to check back here on Monday!

Washi Gift

This card is CASE'd from Monica.  I've loved the idea of using Washi Tape as "wrapping paper" for awhile.  This was the perfect card to do that with.  Soooo simple!  I put a Dimensional at the back of the ribbon to keep it in place.  Another easy-to-make card for your holiday cards inspiration.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): More Merry Messages, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Season of Style Washi Tape, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon

Don't forget about this week's Weekly Deal!  You can order these and more at My Store.

Endless Wishing for Endless Wishes

I apologize in advance for showing you this card.  This card is made using an SU-exclusive photopolymer set called, Endless Wishes.  Unfortunately, this set has been so popular that even with an extra shipment, Stampin' Up! has unfortunately sold out of this awesome set.  Let's start a write-in campaign for this set in actual rubber line-up, shall we?!!!  I love the simplicity of this card.  I CASE'd this from Carla.  I changed up the colors a little.  This is a super simple, easily mailable, and easily mass-producible card for the holidays.  So if you have this set in your possession, you can make 10, 20, 50 of these babies in a sitting.  You won't be sorry you used this as your holiday cards this year!
