Digital Birthday

Today's card is inspired by Patty.  I've seen several cards that uses the Hello Doily big stamp as background.  Much to my delight, this stamp is available as a digital stamp!  As I was playing with My Digital Studio and trying to CASE Patty's card, I realized I didn't have a current flower set that is like what Patty used.  I then went through the Idea Book & Catalog and realized that Fabulous Florets is available as a digital stamp brush set.  It had been on my wish list that I totally forgot about.  Oops.  :)  Anyways, I quickly purchased it and downloaded it into my computer, and put this together.  I was able to put together 12 cards in a very short time.  I love using MDS!  The only thing that's stamped is the Birthday greeting.

Bonus: this card mails flat, because Seam Binding Ribbon is so thin!  Woo-hoo!  Only a regular First Class stamp is required.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Hello Doily (MDS), Fabulous Florets (MDS), Sincere Salutations
Ink: Crumb Cake, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz
Papers: Melon Mambo
Accessories: Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding ribbon

New Year, New Clubs & More

With the new year, a new Mini catalog has started.  Have you received your Occasions Mini Catalog?  If not, please contact me and I can get one out to you.  This catalog has some new accessories for the Big Shot.  Namely, the Framelits!  What are the Framelits, you ask?  Well, they are these thin dies that can cut cardstock or pattern paper.  They come in a set with several sizes, so that you can layer the cutouts easily!  Wanna see it in action?  Schedule a class or workshop with me and I will be happy to show you how to use the Framelits!

Sale-a-Bration 2012 starts on January 24th, 2012.  Have you received one?  If not, please contact me and I can get one out to you.  For every $50 in orders (before s/h/t), you get to select a free product from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  How cool is that?!  There is no limit to how many free items you can have.  And you'll still be eligible for all the Hostess Benefits already in place, too.  In addition, you get a free Stampin' Up! exclusive tote with a $150 workshop or order.  You will also get an extra free Sale-a-Bration item if you have a $400+ workshop or order.  What are some of the free item?  There are Sale-a-Bration exclusive stamp sets, pattern papers, ribbons & brads.  There are also stamp sets, embossing folders, fabric, cardstock, buttons from the Idea Book & Catalog you can earn, too.  As you can see from above, there are special perks to being a hostess during Sale-a-Bration.  If you want more freebies, host a workshop or a class with me!  Call me in the next 2 weeks to schedule your class or workshop during Sale-a-Bration, and you will receive a free gift from me!
During Sale-a-Bration, I have decided to play a game with everyone.  Imagine a bingo card with 5 across and 5 down.  For every $25 order you place with me (before s/h/t), you will get a square on this bingo card.  Once the card is filled, I will cut up the squares and have my son, Reagan, draw a square.  The person who owns that square will win $25 Stampin' Dollars to spend on any current catalog products (s/h/t not included).  The more you order, the more freebies you get from Sale-a-Bration and more chances you will have to win $25 in Stampin' Dollars with me!  Stampin' Dollars will need to be spent by 6/30/12, and order only placed through me.  This is only available through me, Annie Lee, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  It is not a promotion through Stampin' Up! or any other demonstrator.  If a card is filled before end of Sale-a-Bration, I will make up another one and more chances for everyone to win again!
Do you have a Big Shot yet?  If not, Sale-a-Bration is a great time to get one!  Let me tell you how.  You agree to pay $50 (before s/h/t) each month for 3 months, January through March.  During this time, we will meet 3 times and I will show you different kinds of dies, embossing folders that work with the Big Shot.  I will also show you some techniques using the Big Shot.  And of course, each time you will get to make some projects to take home with you.  At our March meeting, you will have $75 to decide which accessories you wish to order to go with your Big Shot.  In addition, you will receive 3 Sale-a-Bration freebies and a Stampin' Up! shopping tote.  A $210+ value for $150.  Not bad, if you ask me!  Oh, why get a Big Shot through Stampin' Up!?  Well, for starters, the SU Big Shot comes with a 3-year warranty.  Anything wrong with your machine during the 3 years, just contact me and Stampin' Up! will replace your Big Shot!  Tell me which company will do that?!  The warranty extends to the accessories also.  Please let me know ASAP if you would like to participate.  First Big Shot class will be held the week of 1/24/12!
If you already have a Big Shot, but would still like to reap the benefits of being a Hostess, here's your chance.  I am offering a Hostess Club during Sale-a-Bration.  You agree to order $50+ (before s/h/t) every month for 3 months, Jan-March.  You will qualify for at least one free Sale-a-Bration free item each month.  Minimum 3 people in order for the club to work.  As soon as I have 3 people, we will draw names for when you will be the Hostess for the month.  During your Hostess month, you are welcome to gather outside orders, invite people to the class.  You also have the choice of hosting at your home or mine.  As the hostess, you will get all the hostess benefits.  You will qualify for minimum of $25 in free products, and a free Stampin' Up! shopping tote.  Please let me know ASAP if you would like to join in this club.  First club will be held week of 1/24/12!

Last, but not least, if you bring a new-to-me person who places a $25+ order with me during Sale-a-Bration, you will receive 2 extra spaces on the Bingo card!  Better yet, bring a friend who is new-to-me and joins one of the clubs, and you will get 5 extra spaces on the Bingo card AND a free gift!!!  As always, feel free to contact me with any questions.

All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop: January

Welcome to another All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop!  If you just came from Shellie's blog, welcome!  Today we are celebrating the start of Occasions Mini Catalog.  I wanted to do something special for this Hop.  However, apparently my mojo took a vacation and didn't come back early enough.  Caused me severe stress, I tell ya!  But not to worry, it came back just in time for me to show you this beautiful card.
I took my inspiration from the card shown on page 15 of the Occasions Mini catalog.  I stamped the big bird in the heart image from Take It to Heart stamp set as a background.  I cut out the image using the new Framelits die.  I have never used anything like this before.  Let me tell you, IT'S FUN! :)  So easy to use.  You can cut exactly where you want.  The dies themselves are super thin and store easily.  I cannot wait to use these dies on more projects!

Here is a close-up of the heart, so you can see the image a bit better.
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Take It to Heart, Thank you Kindly
Ink: Blushing Bride, Marina Mist
Papers: Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Hearts Collection Framelits Die, Houndstooth embossing folder, Two-Step Bird punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Boho Blossoms punch, Basic Pearls, corner rounder

Now you can go on to Pam's blog!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everybody!  How was your holidays?  Ours was not a memorable one, sorry to say.  We were down with 2 rounds of sickness for the two weeks just prior to Christmas.  At least the house was quiet with everyone either sleeping or vegging, when they were not throwing up, that is.  Anyways, it's a whole new year, and let's hope for a much healthier year!
I CASE'd this card from Jennifer.  I made this card quite awhile ago.  While going through my stash from this past year, I realized I never shared this awesome card!  Gasp!  Isn't this so cute?

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Ink: Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Marina Mist
