Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop: Feb 2012

Welcome to this month's Stylin' Stampin' Up! Blog Hop!  This month we are celebrating Sale-a-Bration and Valentine's.  Welcome to those of you who have come from Shellie's blog.  Isn't she super talented? I'm thinking maybe she shouldn't be first on the Hop, 'cause I'm not sure I can ever measure up to her level of projects!

This month I have a Twisted Easel card that I've wanted to try for months.  No time like the present, isn't it?

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Stamp Set(s): Take It to Heart, Delightful Dozen

This next project is a Candy Dish, made of paper, of course!  I first saw this on Frenchie's blog.  It is super simple and so easily adaptable to whatever size you want.

All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop: January

Welcome to another All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop!  If you just came from Shellie's blog, welcome!  Today we are celebrating the start of Occasions Mini Catalog.  I wanted to do something special for this Hop.  However, apparently my mojo took a vacation and didn't come back early enough.  Caused me severe stress, I tell ya!  But not to worry, it came back just in time for me to show you this beautiful card.

I took my inspiration from the card shown on page 15 of the Occasions Mini catalog.  I stamped the big bird in the heart image from Take It to Heart stamp set as a background.  I cut out the image using the new Framelits die.  I have never used anything like this before.  Let me tell you, IT'S FUN! :)  So easy to use.  You can cut exactly where you want.  The dies themselves are super thin and store easily.  I cannot wait to use these dies on more projects!

Here is a close-up of the heart, so you can see the image a bit better.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Stamp Set(s): Take It to Heart, Thank you Kindly

Ink: Blushing Bride, Marina Mist

Papers: Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Very Vanilla

Accessories: Hearts Collection Framelits Die, Houndstooth embossing folder, Two-Step Bird punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Boho Blossoms punch, Basic Pearls, corner rounder

Now you can go on to Pam's blog!
