Floral Frame

Today's card was inspired by Amy.  I had been wanting to test out layering using flowers from different stamp sets and thought this was the perfect card to try it with.  I used Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals.  Look at how wonderful they stack on top of each other.  I hear what you're saying... but I don't NEED another flower set.  I know, I know.  I didn't want to keep buying these floral sets, either.  But I caved, and I love them!  Oh, the reason why my sentiment looks like it barely got any ink at all?  I was trying to be careful and not get any lines from the edges of the rubber.  I guess it wasn't a very good job.  But I was not about to redo the entire card.  So there.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Peachy Keen, Mixed Bunch, Flower Shop, Petite Petals
Ink: Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit
Papers: Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB2014)
Accessories: Peachy Keen framelits, Blossom punch, Pansy punch, Petite Petals punch, Basic Pearls, Crumb Cake Taffeta ribbon

Happy Mother's Day

Happy early Mother's Day to all mothers out there!  Here's a card we made at the last Card Buffet for the occasion.  The sentiment is from a retiring set, Family Reunion.  Isn't the font so pretty?  I know... I'm sad to see this one go, too.

Mix Bunch for Mother

The original card idea came from Cindy.  However, for the life of me, I can't find the original card posting.  Anyways, when I saw her card, I knew what changes I wanted to make to it to make it a little more unique.  I made the card into a version of the "Joy Card."  This card was designed for a group of ladies who don't have much time.  I wanted the card to be beautiful, but also simple enough to do.  I have a couple of versions here, only because I wanted to see what paper combinations would look like.  I also used the Happy Birthday stamp from Perfect Punches set originally.  But the group leader wanted to use a stamp she already had, so I wanted to make sure it fit in the Extra Large Oval punch.
This is the side view of the card when it's opened up.  Pretty neat, huh?
My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Mix Bunch, Perfect Punches
Ink: Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight
Papers: Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Summer Smooches DSP
Accessories: Blossom Punch, 1" circle punch, Extra Large Oval punch

Be Merry, Be Blue

Yowzers, the days are sure movin' fast in December!  Today's card is CASE'd from Selene.  I love using blue for holiday cards.  In this case, it's Marina Mist and Baja Breeze.  I don't have the snowflake die that Selene used, so I used the small ornament punch from the new Merry Mini punch pack for the center of the snowflake.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Mixed Bunch, More Merry Messages
Ink: Marina Mist
Papers: Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Silver Glimmer paper
Accessories: Northern Flurry embossing folder, Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta ribbon, Blossom punch, Merry Mini punch pack, Dazzling Details, Designer button
