Baby Note

Along with last week's Button Buddies card, here's another one that uses the set.  I was asked to make a baby card, so I came up with this.

Retiring Buddies

Can you believe most of what I used on this card is retiring?  Oh, I just want to cry!  I cannot stand the thought that the adorable Button Buddies is retiring already.  This is a super simple card.  I stamped the flower image from the set in 3 diferetn retiring colors, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, and More Mustard, and punched them out with the coordinating 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punch.  The sentiment is also from the retiring set, A Word for You.  Oh!  The card base is River Rock, which is also retiring.  I guess the only thing not retiring is the Framed Tulips embossing folder.  Which is quite a relief!

Summer Thanks

Earlier this summer, I coordinated 21 homes in our neighborhood for contracting roof replacement services.  After everyone has chosen their company of choice, lots of neighbors chipped in and got me some really nice gift cards and flowers as a thank you.  To thank them for their cooperation and their kind gestures, I made these cards.

I don't think I CASE'd this from anyone.  I just really wanted to try out my new Windows Framelits.  This was a very quick card again.  I'm finding that I love making cards that are quick, yet looks like I spent a million years on them. :)  Since I have shared that I may be addicted to embossing folders last week, you can see the evidence here again.

One thing to note, I stamped the sentiment BEFORE putting the cardstock through the embossing folder.

Birthday Flowers

This card is CASE'd from Angela.  Love how simple this card is to make.  I didn't have the stamp set she used, but I have the cutey-patootey Button Buddies.  I love how the flower in this set matches up with our Scallop Circle punch.  Makes card making a breeze! :)  The only thing I would change on this card is to stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso, like Angela did.  I didn't look at her card closely enough to realize what she did.  My sentiment is just a bit faint using Crumb Cake.

Holiday Buddies

I forgot to share these cards earlier.  I had originally set out to CASE Krystal's card.  However, one thing led to another, this is what mine ended up looking like.  I actually really love these cards.  I was able to quickly assemble 20 of these under 90min, including paper cutting time.  I think that's pretty good!  These cards were easy to make, especially with the Northern Flurries embossing folder.  I added glitter glue on top of the snowflakes.  Oh, I also love tearing the cardstock. LOL.

If you didn't get a chance to send out holiday cards last month, you can still make this for a winter greeting card.  Highly versatile.

Super super quick and simple card.  Isn't it adorable?  I just love the Button Buddies stamp set.  Can you believe there's no Big Shot involved, nor punches used on this one?
