Part of the reason I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, is the sister(brother)hood of it.  I have met many friends in person and via online because of our love for Stampin' Up! products.  A group of us participated in a Secret Santa cards and gift exchange last month.  Here is what my Secret Santa sent me.   Isn't this just wonderful???  I feel that I got spoiled rotten with all these goodies and eye candy.

If you wish to join in a community of wonderful people who provide friendship, banter, support, and enjoy Stampin' Up! products, a great opportunity is coming up during Sale-a-Bration.  Join for $99, and you can get $125 + extra $25 worth of products with NO SHIPPING!  This promotion starts on January 28th, 2014.  If you wish to find out more, please feel free to CONTACT ME.

Fabric Friday: Chapstick holder

I'm so excited to share this cute little project with you.  I haven't sewed anything interesting for awhile.  Then I stumbled onto this cutie thing that you can literally make in 15 minutes.  HERE is the tutorial.  I made a couple minor adjustments, but it doesn't take away from the tutorial at all.  It is essentially a long tube (2" x9") folded up.  What I love about this is, first, it's a quick project.  Second, it's so useful.  How often have you hunted down that chapstick in the abyss that is your purse?  Now you can clip it onto the side of your purse, and you'll have it at the ready.  Third, it uses up scraps!!!  For those of you that sew, go ahead, make a few of these for yourself and your friends and family.  They'll love you for it!

Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop - January 2014

Thank you so much for joining us for our January Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop!  Love is in the air and our talented group of design team members have a Whole Lotta Love Goin' On as we are excited to be sharing some NEW Occasions Catalog goodies and some Valentine's Day projects with you this month!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog!  We are always excited to hear from our followers!

You should have just left stop number 13 on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad  blog hop – Kristina of Mama's Sanity.  If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find  the full blog hop lineup below.

I'm so excited to show you my card this month.  When I saw the awesome Starburst framelit, I knew I wanted it for my very first Spring Catalog order.  And the coordinating Starburst Sayings just make me happy.
This card was designed based on sketch from PPA185.
Stamp Set(s): Starburst Sayings
Ink: Coastal Cabana
Papers: Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Retro Fresh DSP
Accessories: Very Vintage Designer buttons, Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, Decorative Dots embossing folder (SAB2014 Sneak Peek!)

Last month, I participated in a Secret Santa exchange with my fellow blog hoppers.  I made this little box to house a couple little gifts for my recipient.
For the paper bow on top, I followed the instructions from HERE.
Of course, this box uses one of my favorite DSPs from the Spring Catalog, the Retro Fresh pack again.
The box itself was fashioned after combining a couple of different ideas (one of them was THIS ONE).  Wanna know how I did it?  Of course you do!  I made a pictorial just for YOU!
Thank you for coming by.  I hope you liked these projects.  Now, please go visit my good friend, Jennifer of NW Stamper's blog.

Happy New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone!  Hope you had a good Christmas and Hanukah and Kwanza and whatever holiday you celebrate.  Here's kind of a quick card that I made for some of the holiday cards that went out this year.  The file folder look is quite popular these days, especially with the use of Envelope Punch Board.  I thought I'd give it a try.  It was indeed easy!  I'll have to do a quick pictorial for you.  The tag is cut using the Deco Label framelits.  I didn't cut the full shape, as you can see.  I just wanted the sides.  It worked perfectly.  This stamp set is called, Happy Hour.  I've had it for awhile, but haven't had the chance to play with it until now.  It's so cute, isn't it?  I used markers to color the mistletoe.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Happy Hour, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit
Papers: Island Indigo, Winter Frost DSP Stack
Accessories: Water Color Wonder Washi Tape (new! Occasions Catalog 2014), Deco Labels Framelits, 1/8" Silver ribbon, Envelope Punch Board, Stampin' Write Markers (Gumball Gree, Cherry Cobbler)
