Thankful Week #1

With Thanksgiving around the corner, what better time than now to make some Thank You cards?
I wanted to take this moment to thank all of you for visiting me at my blog.  And to all of my customers.  And for all the friendships I've made since joining Stampin' Up!.  I won't get all sappy here.  I just want to let you all know that I appreciate everyone of you. :D

This card today is based on a layout I had done last year at this time, with updated color scheme.  What do you think?  I was especially happy to use Curly Cute for the sentiment.  I had resisted all last year to get it.  I finally broke down and bought it.  And I'm so glad I did!  I just love the curly cues.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Lovely as a Tree, Curly Cute
Ink: Early Espresso
Papers: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Festival of Prints Pack
Accessories: Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Scallop Trim border punch, Pool Party Ruffled ribbon

Now, to kick off this Thankful Week, Stampin' Up! is having a super Online Extravaganza!  It starts today and will run through Wednesday of next week.  There are 3 items on sale only for today; and 3 items for sale only next Wednesday.

Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop - November 2012

Can you believe it's been yet another month (and a week, but shhh.... don't tell!)?  It's time for our monthly Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop again.  Please hop along all the stops to see what all the fabulous ideas we have for you.  And better yet, please kindly leave us some love with your comments.  We LOVE seeing comments on our posts!

This month the theme is Thanksgiving/Thankful-related.  I am so very thankful for the wonderful friendships I have developed since joining Stampin' Up! 2 years ago.  It has made crafting so much fun!  One of these wonderful friendships is with someone who shares my last name.  I have never met her, but enjoy her talent very much.  You may have heard me mention her before.  She is June Lee, of JuneLee Handmade.  June has graciously made me a card for this month's Hop.
Isn't this card GOH-JUSS?  It's so super sparkly everywhere!  Isn't it great to start the season with?

This next project is something we made at the Tacoma Regionals in late September.  It is the perfect little Hostess Gift for the season.  It is made using the Two-Tags die and Fancy Flower punch.
I hope you enjoy these projects.  Your next stop is with Pam.

Shadowy Blossoms

Good morning, everyone!  Isn't this such a beautiful eye candy?  I've loved this card since I first laid my eyes on the original, made by AnnMarie.  I had to wait until I finally ordered the Blossom Party die.  And I'm so glad I did, too!  Because this card is actually a cinch to make with this die.  I put 4 different color cardstock together.  Put it on the die at the same time and ran through the Big Shot once.  How easy was that?!
Here's a view of looking from the top of the card.  This is called a "Shadow Box Card."  You can find the instruction HERE.  Essentially, you take 2 pieces of cardstock, regular card size (A2).  You score the short sides at 1/2" and 1".  I used a 2 1/2" circle punch for the cut out.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Family Reunion
Ink: Summer Starfruit
Papers: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Raspeberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Wisteria Wonder, Gumball Green
Accessories: Blossom Party die, Two-Step Bird punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Basic Pearls, In-Color Dahlias
