Flourishing Butterfly

As soon as I saw this card by LeeAnn Greff, I just had to get off my bum and make this card.  It was that inspiring!  I have just now realized this photo is a bit blurry.  Argh.  So sorry!

I resisted on getting this new butterfly punch, but I'm glad I caved.  Isn't it so graceful?  There's no special techniques here, which makes this a wonderful beginner's card.

Stamp Set(s): Flowering Flourishes, Made for You

Mixing with Flowers Again

I know this is not a new set, but in midst of playing with all my new stuff, I kinda missed playing with Mixed Bunch, so I decided to bring it out again.  This card is inspired by Lesley.  I put the flowers on different layers, 1 with no dimensionals behind, just glue; 1 with one layer of Dimensionals; and 1 with 2 layers of Dimensionals.  Leaves are from the Two-Step Bird punch, and the sentiment is simply punched out with Word Window punch.  Easy peasy card, and so lovely.

This card was offered at my Card Buffet last Sunday.  I added a Designer Printed Brad in the center of the Wisteria Wonder flower.  Adds even more pizzazz!

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Mixed Bunch, Fabulous Phrases(sentiment)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Gray
Papers: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Stripes embossing folder, Two-Step Bird punch, Blossoms punch, Word Window punch

Everything Old is New Again!

Hope you think the wait is worth it. I have a fabulously easy technique to share.  This technique is a revival of something in the past, and has been brought out again by the very excellent Dawn Olchefske.
Dawn coined this as Triple Time Stamping.  Isn't this gorgeous???

The trick is using removable adhesive between 3 layers of Whisper White and stamp them all together, as if they are one piece.  Then when you pull them apart, you get this wonderful look.  There's lots of variations out there now.  You can also stamp another flower and cut it out to adhere here to add even more dimension.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Everything Eleanor, Blooming with Kindness (sentiment)
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red
Papers: Early Espresso
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon
