Fabulous Cupcake

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Today's card is *shock* not CASE'd from anyone.  This was made for a customer's event.  Now that spring is slowly coming back, it's nice to bring out Summer Smooches again, as the colors are so vibrant!  Behind the cupcake, I used Two Tags Die, and just folded it to tape it on the back of DSP.

Here's another version:

Thanks, Sale-a-Bration 2013!

Today's card is inspired by Deb.  When I saw her card, I knew I wanted to do this window effect.  Here is the front view:
Inside:
The trick here is using a framelit size that is one up from the inside smaller oval.  The Island Indigo piece is cut with a framelit that is 2 sizes larger than the smaller oval.  Hope that makes sense.  That way, when the card is closed, you will see the entire Island Indigo border.

My Supplies List (all supplies and images by Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):
Stamp Set(s): Oh Hello
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Island Indigo
Papers: Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Sycamore Street DSP (SAB 2013)
Accessories: Ovals framelits, Petite Butterfly punch, Sycamore Street button (SAB 2013), Calypso Coral Baker's Twine

Today is the last day of Sale-a-Bration.  If you wish to place a last minute order, please contact me ASAP or go to My Store to order online.

Moving Birthday

Happy Monday, everyone!  It was a busy week and a half around here.  First, it was my birthday weekend, so my husband took me to Napa Valley for some fine cuisines and wines, SANS kids!!!  We hardly knew what to do with ourselves.  LOL.  Then we came back, and it was time to prepare for my son's birthday weekend.  He must have had so much fun the entire weekend, that he woke up this morning and asked for more "happy birthday today?"

Anyways, sharing a card from the last couple of card buffets.  This one uses Moving Forward.  This is a great set.  Stampin' Up! makes a stamp set each year to support Ronald McDonald House.  This is the set this year.  For every set sold, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to the cause.  If you haven't bought this set yet, you should consider getting it.  Besides for a good cause, it is a fabulously cute set!

Today's card is pretty much CASE'd from a card that I saw at Tacoma Regionals last fall.  Here's my version:
